Note if you can’t get to the FILE / DATABASE option in the regular Orion program and make sure the database says OrionData (or the appropriate database name for your firm), you may have to edit the registry on your PC or have your IT department do it for you.
Note incorrectly editing the registry on a PC can have unforeseen consequences if done improperly. If you are unsure of the steps, please contact your IT department for assistance.
If the user has rights, you can try the following:
Type regedit in start/run line
Access HKEY_Current-User/Software/Orion/Case Management and highlight the case management folder to see the registry key.
Edit this registry key on that PC
Double click on Server and make sure it is pointing to the right server (where we have orionfs1 in the illustration – that would be your server name. Type it in in the Value Data field if it is not already there and click OK
Double click on Database name and make sure it is correct – it is usually OrionData. If it is not correct type it in in the Value Data field.
Then close out and attempt to restart Orion.
