Orion Law Management Systems, Inc. (www.orionlaw.com) today launches the legal industry’s first-ever Accounts Receivable (AR) Collection Survey which seeks to benchmark trends in law firm financial activity specifically in regards to collections.

Given the ongoing economic recession and the pressure on law firms to bring more money into the firm, Orion is particularly interested in analyzing how today’s law firms are approaching collections. In addition, Orion recently released an AR Collection Manager module for its law practice/financial management technology, and the Survey will also capture consumer adoption of that software.

The Survey asks firms whether they are seeing a dramatic uptick in collections activity, which practice areas those increases are affecting, and how they are addressing these needs with technology and outsourced service providers. Participants from law firms of all sizes are invited to complete the Survey, especially if they focus on AR collections as part of their job responsibilities. All participants will be automatically entered to win a Kindle Fire, which will be raffled off at the end of the Survey.

The Orion AR Collection Survey opens today, Tuesday April 10th and will remain open through Monday, April 30th at 5pm (EST). The results will be released on Thursday, May 3rd and will be available for download on www.orionlaw.com.
