Orion User Group 2011 is Coming!
Save the dates! Orion will host our 2011 User Group Meeting October 24th – 26th. Once again, our meeting will be held at the fabulous Evergreen Stone Mountain Resort in Atlanta, Georgia. Orion on the Road
It was great to see many of our clients at LegalTech® this past February in New York and this past week at the ABA TECHSHOW® in Chicago.
If you missed Orion at these events, there will be plenty more opportunities to get together. Of course we will be at the ALA Annual Conference & Exposition in Orlando May 23rd – May 25th. You will also find us at Regions 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the ALA Regional Conferences later this year.

At Orion, we are always moving forward. Our goal is to provide our clients with the most comprehensive and innovative software tools. Orion’s software is always changing, but here’s a quick look at some of the things that are ready or near release:
Have you checked your Help screen lately? If not, just select “Help/Orion Help” from the Orion menu bar (or click here: help.orionlaw.com) and you will be provided with a complete and searchable electronic version of documentation. Please note the first attempt to load may be a little slow. Check back often and this on-line user guide will continue to evolve with plans on adding related video content.
A new version (4.4) is being prepared for release! Exchange Synchronization for Exchange 2010 is now ready for release.
Orion (4.4) is now compatible with Microsoft Office 2010 (32 bit) and is now ready for release.
Enhanced Bill Delivery is coming soon! The next major update to Orion will provide new tools for managing and delivering your invoices via e-mail or EDI file formats.
Each of these updates will be available to your firm at no charge as part of your Orion Software Support and Maintenance agreement.
Technology Update-Pervasive PSQL v11
Orion is in the final testing stages for Pervasive PSQL v11. This is the database used by Orion to manage your information. Firms looking to take full advantage of the 64 bit server and workstation capabilities will be happy to know that Pervasive PSQL v11 will provide them with exactly what they need. Furthermore, full support of multi-core processing, a refined cache system and enhanced security will add speed and reliability.
