It’s the end of the year and, once again, time to face the budgetary music. With the billable hour business model driving budget projections for most law firms, it makes sense at the end of the year to visit the billable hour and billing practices in general. In an economic downturn such as the one we are in, meeting those budgetary projections based upon the billable hour is beocming increasingly difficult, and firms are looking for wsays to improve their billing practices across the board.
