The Investment Report cannot be sorted by Working Attorney because the report shows the net result of AR + WIP – Trust and/or Retainer. Although WIP and AR are tracked at the Working attorney level, retainer and trust balances are not. The retainer and/or trust balance is held at the Matter level, and, until the retainer or trust is applied to an invoice, the system has no way of knowing who gets “credit” for this retainer/trust money.
