In Orion there are multiple places that phone numbers are stored. The fields that you see on the screen on the Client record correspond to a field name on the Data Output Tab on the Matter Listing report. These field names may not be identical on the Data Output Tab because they are on the screen. Note the Data Output Tab may also have different fields listed depending on the data collector used for the report. Not all reports will have same fields available for output.
If you are on a Client Record in Orion:
Primary – This is the primary phone number for the client and corresponds to Client_PhoneNumber on the Data Output Tab.
Fax – This is the fax number and corresponds to Client_PhoneNumber1.
Home – This is the home number and corresponds to Client_PhoneNumber2.
Mobile – This is the mobile number and corresponds to Client_PhoneNumber3.
If you are on the Client record and click on the Address button, you will notice a phone number and a fax number associated with the Billing Address for the Client. These can be different from the above phone number and the fax number fields mentioned. Normally they are the same, but they could be different. The phone number in this case is actually stored and associated with the billing address itself.
Keep in mind the Primary field (phone number) on a Contact record is another field that is unique and stores a phone number for the Contact. These different fields have to be kept in mind when outputting data to Excel as you may get data that “looks” incorrect when in fact it is simply pulling from a different field than you originally thought.
On the Billing Address screen:
Phone corresponds to Billing_AddressPhone on the Data Output Tab.
Fax corresponds to Billing_AddressPhone2 on the Data Output Tab.
