If you are attempting to post transactions in the General Ledger but the system prevents it because it thinks someone else is posting transactions, do the following:
1. Close the General Ledger Manager.
2. Make sure no one else is posting General Ledger transactions.
3. Open the General Ledger Manager and choose TOOLS, System Settings. The following screen will appear:

4. Once the System Settings window is displayed, choose TOOLS, Clear File Access States.
5. Close the System Settings window and try posting your General Ledger transactions again.
