The setting “Remove $ on currency objects after first line of page” works if there is no break in the accounts’ band. If the account numbers fall within a range, the $ will appear at the beginning of the grouping and then in the total. If there is a break in the accounts (an account or accounts is separated from the range), the $ will appear again.
