For optimal load time and performance, the Client and Matter grids in File Maintenance Manager should contain a minimal amount of information.  The more fields displayed, the more data files the program has to open and obtain information from.  The optimal settings are as follows:

Client Grid

Client Number

File As Name

Matter Grid

Matter Number

Name

Other fields can be added and viewed within the grids (right click and choose Customize).  However, if these fields are not referred to often, it is best to leave your Client and Matter grids set for optimal load time.
