To make a change on multiple transactions through Time Manager, first set your filter to display the transactions to be edited. Select the appropriate transactions using your mouse and then right click and choose Edit Selected. The following window will appear:

Enter the new values in the fields and click OK. There are several rules and restrictions that apply when making these global edits.
1. Any Minimum/Maximum Date Restrictions set up in the system will apply. For example, if the system is set to restrict entry/edit of a fee transaction to within the range of 07/01/2012 through 07/31/2012, you will not be able to edit a transaction currently dated outside that range nor will you be able to change the transactions to a date outside that range.
2. Transactions that have been invoiced may not be changed.
3. If changing the Client-Matter to one that requires Task Codes, you will need to enter a value in the Phase-Task Code field at the same time you are changing the Client-Matter number.
4. A valid Rate Code must exist for the Timekeeper on the Client-Matter.
Another “global” feature available through the Time Manager is the ability to “Release” multiple transactions at one time. If you have fee transactions that have a status of Unreleased (valid but not yet added to WIP), you may tag the transactions, right click and choose the “Release Fees” option.
If you have multiple fee transactions on the same day for the same Client-Matter and you would like to consolidate them into one transaction, highlight the transactions, right click and choose the “Combine Fees” option. The transactions must be for the same Client-Matter and the same Timekeeper or the system will cancel the “Combine”. The transactions are combined in order of record number (entry order).
