Most of the time, our import will bring the extended amount field over from the import file. The extended amount field is usually the 7th field over in bold below.

In the first example we will assign the default copy code with .18 as the net result if no overrides are set up on the Client-Matter. Overrides can be viewed in the File Maintenance Matter Manager in the Billing view under the Overrides Tab.
In the second example we will assign the default Expense Code for copies, but the net result will be 0.00 for the price. If you see 0.00 in the transaction file but there is a price coming over in Orion, check the Overrides Tab for that Client. If there is one there then we are changing from the default Expense Code to the Override Code and assigning a price based on the new Expense Code.
