Unable to Post Payments in Current Year

The actual GL Period/FY is held separately from the current period/FY used by AR and AP.  If you have not entered any activity for AP in 2014 you probably have not been prompted yet to increment that.  Close AR Manager and then go into AP Manager and choose TOOLSSystem Settings.  At the bottom of the screen you will see Current Period and FY – change it to 1/2014 and click OK.  Go back into AR Manager and try again.
