First, double check to make sure the RAP showed on your Invoice. The above scenario typically happens if you used a date on the RAP that was after the Invoice Date. If you need the RAP to show on the Invoice, unpost and void the Invoice and re-create it using an Invoice Date on or after the date of the RAP.
If you want to leave the Invoice as is and just apply the RAP to it, do the following:
1. Go back into Bill Preparation, call up the Client-Matter and enter through the message that there are no Fees or Client Advances.
2. Choose ACTION, Set Auto Apply Transactions.
3. Remove the check mark next to the RAP and click OK.
You should now be able to go back into AR Manager and apply and post the RAP.
