When you go into the Deposit Processing program and create a Bank Reconciliation Deposit, the date used for the Deposit defaults to the current date. If you forget to change the date to the correct date of the Deposit, you may change the date of the Deposit record in Bank Reconciliation without reversing anything. To do this, open the Bank Reconciliation program and locate the AR Deposit record in question. Highlight the record, right click and choose the Edit Date option. Enter the correct date for the Deposit and click OK.  You may not change any other field on the record.  Changing this date has no effect on the actual payment records that make up the Deposit, and it does not have any effect on General Ledger transactions.
