“I want to change the date on an RDP from an AP adjustment – can I do that?”
No. A RDP created from an adjustment of a billed client advance is a special type of transaction. At the time you create the adjustment you are given the opportunity to enter in the date of the adjustment which will be reflected on the RDP in the client ledger. Current releases of Orion do not allow the user to go back and change this date.
The RDP date doesn’t affect the period of your GL transaction . If you need to edit the period to which the RDP adjustment got posted, you may do so in GL Manager. It is the period and year of the GL transaction that controls what presents on your balance sheet and income statements.
Note that correction of the RDP date from an AP adjustment is a billable service.
